Diabecon increases the peripheral utilization of glucose. Diabecon increases the hepatic and muscle glycogen content. Diabecon promotes b-cell repair/regeneration and increases the C-peptide level. As it has antioxidant properties, Diabecon protects the b-cells from oxidative stress. Diabecon exerts an insulin-like action.
