Description

You should not use this medicine if you have had an allergic reaction to propranolol, hydrochlorothiazide, sulfa drugs, or other blood pressure medicines (such as atenolol, metoprolol). You should not use this medicine if you have asthma, problems urinating, or if you have certain heart problems. Talk with your doctor about what these heart problems are.

Warnings While Using This Medicine:

    * Make sure your doctor knows if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have congestive heart failure, lung problems, blood vessel disorders, diabetes, gout, lupus, Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, liver disease, kidney disease, problems urinating, overactive thyroid, or circulation problems.
    * Make sure any doctor or dentist who treats you knows that you are using this medicine. You may need to stop using this medicine several days before having surgery or medical tests, include eye exams.

Possible Side Effects While Using This Medicine:

    * Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in face or hands, swelling or tingling in the mouth or throat, tightness in chest, trouble breathing
    * Change in how much or how often you urinate
    * Chest pain (may be related to your disease and not a side effect)
    * Confusion, weakness, muscle twitching
    * Dry mouth, increased thirst, muscle cramps, nausea or vomiting
    * Fast or irregular heartbeat
    * Lightheadedness or fainting
    * Slow heartbeat, fainting, seizures, blue fingernails or palms
    * Yellow eyes or skin
