Active Ingredients:
Troxerutin and indometacin
Therapeutic actions:
Indovasin (troxerutin and indometacin) – NSAIDs. Acts as anti-inflammatory and analgesic substance caused by prostaglandin synthesis depression; reduces hypostasis, pain and local hyperemia. Troxerutin - rutin derivant. Reduces capillaries permeability and fragility, improves microcirculation.
What is it used for?:
• musculoskeletal system inflammatory disease (including bursitis, peritenditis, synovitis);
• inveterate venous insufficiency;
• varicosity following with pain and edema;
• trophic disturbances at varicosity;
• condition after immobilization.
Contraindications and cautions:
• peptic ulcer disease at exacerbation;
• agnogenic coagulant blood system abnormalities;
• pregnancy;
• lactation;
• children and adolescence to 14 y.o.;
• hypersensitivity to medicine components and other NSAIDs.
Indovasin – only for application.
Side effects:
Allergic reactions: seldom – eruption, hyperemia, urticaria, itch.
Interactions:
Interactions with other medicines are not described.
