Description
Zinc hyaluronan is a proprietary complex of the essential skin constituent hyaluronan biomolecule and zinc. Hyaluronan represents a new generation in modern wound care, while zinc has been traditionally used by several generations for different skin conditions. However, unlike a simple hyaluronan combination, zinc hyaluronan as a complex not only maintains all the specific features of its constituents, but shows additional benefits of enhanced wound healing, antimicrobial and enhanced anti-inflammatory properties, as well.

Therapeutic actions:
Hyaluron is a biological polysaccharide and a physiological component of the intraocular fluid, natural component of extracellular connective tissue matrix. In ocular operation provide effective protection of bare tissue, causes mechanical protective action on wounds, lowers acute postoperative hyperemia.
Indications:
• superficial wounds such as minor trauma wounds (abrasions, lacerations, cuts), minor burns
• mild-to-moderate form of acne vulgaris
Under the supervision of a healthcare professional:
• chronic wounds such as leg ulcers of different origin and decubitus Contraindications and cautions: Don not use Curiosin if you are hypersensitive to any components of the preparation.
Side effects:
The following are some of the side effects that are known to be associated with this medicine. Because a side effect is stated here, it does not mean that all people using this medicine will experience that or any side effect. In some case local hypersensitivity (allergic reaction) may emerge.The following symptoms may occasionally occur at the beginning of use: redness, mild transient stinging or burning sensations, and local pain. The following conditions were reported very rarely during clinical trials: hypergranulation and partial necrosis found only in a very limited area of the wound bed, but the causal relationship to CURIOSIN? therapy has not been established. The side effects listed above may not include all of the side effects reported by the drugis manufacturer.
Interactions:
Tell your doctor or pharmacist what medicines you are already taking, including those bought without a prescription and herbal medicines, before you start treatment with Curiosin. It is incompatible with cationic solutions if mixed opalescence appears.
