Mycosolon (mazipredone, miconazole) a combination of drugs containing corticosteroids mikonazol anti deperzolon (Mazipredon). Implemented Mycosolon (mazipredone, miconazole) lesions in the skin and nails dermatomycetes, accompanied by inflammation phenomena.

Active Ingredients:
Metronidazole and miconazole
Therapeutic actions:
Mycosolon is a combined medication for vaginal use. Mycosolon possesses antibacterial, antifungal and antiprotozoal properties. Metronidazole works by interacting with genetic material (DNA) of the bacterial cells. By inhibiting the synthesis of nucleic acid , Metronidazole causes death of the microorganisms. Metronidazole is effective againsts Trichomonas vaginalis, Giardia intestinalis, Entamoeba histolytica, Lamblia intestinalis, as well as Bacteroides spp. (B.fragilis, B.ovatus, B.distasonis, B.thetaiotaomicron, B.vulgatus), Fusobacterium spp., Clostridium spp., and Peptostreptococcus spp.
Miconazole exerts antifungal action. It is effective against dermatophitis, yeast fungus as well as some strains of Gram-positive bacteria. Miconazole works by interfering the synthesis of ergosterol, resulting in lysis of mycotic cells. Miconazole doesn't change PH and normal bacterial population in the vagina.
Indications:
Mycosolon is used to treat:
• Vaginal infections caused by anaerobic bacteria protozoa, or Candida albicans following any gynaecological surgery
• Trichomoniasis
• Lambliasis
• Non specific vaginitis
Contraindications and cautions:
You should not use Mycosolon in the following conditions:
• Blood disease
• Leucopenia
• Epilepsy
• Kidney failure
• Pregnancy
• Breastfeeding
• allergy to metronidazole or miconazole
• Children
• Use Mycosolon with caution in Diabetes
Warning!
• Regularly check your blood levels while taking this medication
• It is recommended to avoid sexual intercourse while taking Mycosolon.
• Metronidazole may cause false-positive TPI test
• Avoid alcohol drinking while taking Mycosolon

• Discharges from the vagina
• Burning numbness, itching, irritation in the vagina
• Pelvic discomfort

• Headache
• Dizziness
• Leucopenia
• Numbness in the extremities
• Darkened urine
• Menstrual discomfort or irregularity
• Vaginal spotting
• Swelling in the vulva
