Description
Nitrofungin (Chlornitrophenol), solution for external use [alcohol]. Nitrofungin (Chlornitrophenol) anti-vehicle. Nitrofungin (Chlornitrophenol) suppresses the growth of Microsporum canis, Trichophyton gypseum, Candida albicans. Has antibacterial action against gram bacteria.

Active ingredients:
Chlor-nitrofenol 250 mg, Triglicol 2,5 g, Etanol 50% ad 25 ml.
Therapeutic actions:
Active towards the dermatophytes with fungistatic action.
What is it used for?:
Dermatomycosis (epidermophytia, trichophytia, candidosis, mycotic eczema), mycosis external auditive duct.
Contraindications and Cautions:
Hyper sensibility to drug. In case of irritation the nitrofungin solution is diluted 2 times. The treated areas of the skin must be kept from sun exposure.
Dosing:
It is applied topically 2-3 times per day untill the disease symptoms disappear. Further on - 1-2 per week during a month. In relapses’ prophylaxis - applied 1-2 times per week.
Side effects:
Local irritation, photo sensibilisation.
Interactions:
Are not described.
