Activated Charcoal has an absorbent, detoxifying, and anti-diarrhea effect since it absorbs poisons and other toxins from the digestive tract, such as alkaloids, glycosides, barbiturates and other sleeping and narcotic agents, salts of heavy metals, toxins of bacterial, vegetal, and animal origin.
What is it used for?:(Indications:)
Activated Charcoal is used to detoxify the body in cases of endogenous poisoning (from inside the body) and exogenous poisoning (from outside the body) nausea, gas in the digestive system, food poisoning, dysentery, acid reflux, kidney failure, surface skin infections, bronchial asthma, inflammation of the stomach, intestines and gallbladder, overdoses of medications, allergic sicknesses and alcohol withdrawal syndrome. Patients may use Carbolong to decrease the quantity of intestinal gas for prepare for Roentgen and endoscopic examination.
Contraindications and cautions:
Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity, stomach and upper small intestines ulcers, nonspecific ulcerous colitis, bleeding from digestive tract.
