Description
Subtyl (Bacillus subtilis, Dextrose, Magnesium stearate) - the
drug has immunopotentiating and anti-oxidant action, stimulates
cellular immunity.
These bacteria become active, stimulate ferments which split carbohydrates, fats and proteins in the bowels. There they create acid condition which stops the decay process, stimulate vitamin synthesis (group B), vitamin absorption (group E and K), reparative process in the bowels, reduce meteorism, normalize the gut organisms, increase bactericidal effect to Proteus spp., Escherichia coli, pathogenic staphylococcus.

Therapeutic actions:
Subtyl (Bacillus subtilis, Dextrose, Magnesium stearate) is a drug composed of a culture of living germs Bacillus subtilis which actively start their reproduction in the intestines at a temperature of 37 C. It is used for treating intestine infections, diarrhea, acute and chronic enteritis in children and adults. Subtyl also restores and balances intestine flora, which is affected due to infections or use of antibiotics.
What is it used for?: (Indications:)
• Acute and chronic diarrhea of different genesis, especially in children( due to the change of eating regime and food composition, due to dysfunction in digestion, allergic genesis)
• Intestinal dysbacteriosis (especially due to treatment with antibiotics with wide spectrum of action)
• Enteritis
• Enterocolitis
• Profilaxis and treatment of dysfunctions in dygestion, caused by chemo- and radio- therapy
• As subsidiary treatment of infectious diarrhea
Contraindications and cautions:
-Do not use Subtyl if you have high sensitivity to the components of the preparation: Dextrose, Magnesium stearate. After swallowing Subtyl you should not drink hot fluids. Also subtlyl should not be used with alcohol beverages.
Side effects:
There where no side effects observed when using Subtyl in prescribed doses.
Interactions:
Tell your doctor or pharmacist what medicines you are already taking, including those bought without a prescription and herbal medicines, before you start treatment with this medicine. Subtyl is resistant to different types of antibiotics and sulfonamide drugs, there for it can be used together with them. But it is recommended to take antibiotics in 1-2 hours after using Subtyl.
