Therapeutic actions:
Bactisubtil (Bacillus cereus) is a bacterial species that causes emetic and diarrheal types of food poisoning in humans; can cause infections in humans and other mammals and a highly destructive infection of the traumatized eye. Saves and corrects the physiological balance of the intestinal flora. The bacteria sporules containing in the preparation are resistant to the gastric juice. They grow into the vegetative forms of bacteria occurs in the intestinal canal. The vegetative forms of bacteria free the enzymes which decompose the carbohydrates, fats and proteins. As a result the acidic medium is formed which prevents the bacterial decay. The medication prevents the disturbance of synthesis of B and P vitamins in the intestinal canal.
What is it used for?: (Indications:)
• Acute and chronic diarrhea of different genesis, especially in children( due to the change of eating regime and food composition, due to dysfunction in digestion, allergic genesis)
• Intestinal dysbacteriosis (especially due to treatment with antibiotics with wide spectrum of action)
• Enteritis
• Enterocolitis
• Profilaxis and treatment of dysfunctions in dygestion, caused by chemo- and radio- therapy
• As subsidiary treatment of infectious diarrhea
Contraindications and cautions:
-Do not use Subtyl if you have high sensitivity to the components of the preparation Side effects: There where no side effects observed when using Bactisubtyl in prescribed doses.
Interactions:
Bactisubtil is resistant to different types of antibiotics and sulfonamide drugs, there for it can be used together with them.
