Therapeutic actions:
Aminalon is the nootropic drug, which restores metabolism in the brain, it promotes the utilization of glucose by the brain and the removal from it the toxic substances. Cerebral blood circulation and memory are increased. Aminalon improves the disturbances of speech and movements. It has easy hypotensive action, such symptoms as :vertigo, insomnia, caused by hypertension, are decreased. It also reduces the content of glucose in people with diabetes. In people with the normal content of glucose it possesses the inverse action. Aminalon also provides anti-hypoxic and anticonvulsive effect.

Aminalon is used to treat:
• metabolic and vascular disorders in the brain (including sharp and chronic cerebral blood circulation disorders, dementia, craniocerebral injury);
• disturbance of memory, attention, speech
• children's cerebral paralysis
• mental backwardness in children
• sea-sickness and air-sickness
Contraindications and cautions:
You should not use Aminalon if you have an allergy to gamma-aminobutyric acid.
You should tell your health-care provider prior to taking this medication if :
• you are pregnant
• you are breastfeeding
