Active Ingredients:

Therapeutic actions:
Relief (benzocaine, shark liver oil) causes anti-inflammatory, hemostatic and healing effect. Phenylephrine
Hydrochloride is a sympathomimetic amine that causes vasoconstriction via the activation of post-junctional-adrenergic receptors capillary blood vessels.
Activation of these receptors occur directly by binding of phenylephrine or indirectly by binding of norepinephrine released from sympathomimetic nerve endings in response to phenylephrine. This reduces exudation, edema, pruritus, serous discharge in patients with hemorrhoids and other conditions of anorectum.
What is it used for?:
(Indications:)
External and internal hemorrhoids, anal fissures, anal itch.
Contraindications and cautions:
Heightened individual sensibility to any component, recurrent thromboembolism, hypogranulocytosis.
Side effects:
Allergic reaction to the components of the medication. The medication is not recommended for the children under 12 y.o., in pregnancy and lactation without coordination with the doctor. The medication should not be used by the patients with the pancreatic diabetes, arterial hypertension, hyperthyroidism, prostate gland diseases, and also during the simultaneous intake of the inhibitors, tricyclic antidepressants and antihypertensive drugs.
In case of bleeding or lack of the therapeutic effect after 7 days of the medication application please consult your doctor.
