Active Ingredients:
fenoterol
Therapeutic actions:
Broncholytic medication, beta2- adrenoceptor agonist. Contacting b2-adrenoreceptors by means of Gs-protein, Berotec N activates adenylate cyclase that leads to increase of cycling adenosine-monophosphate concentration and activation of protein A which provides target albumin phosphorylation in smooth muscle cells. This, in turn, leads to myosin light chain kinase phosphorylation and to opening of big potassium channels activated by calcium. As a result of it concentration of calcium in myofibrillas decreases and bronchial tubes dilation occurs. There are data, that big potassium channels can be activated directly by Gs-protein.
